Ras Mohammed

Why do we believe that Ras Mohamed is one of the world greatest spots to dive?

That is because it’s the biggest national park we have in Egypt, both land and underwater park. The land is full of special rare animals, and the nutrient rich waters attract hundreds of thousands of living species to its immensely diverse coral reef. Luxuriant sea walls and terraces provide some of the most awesome sights anyone can lay eyes on as well as on the few historical wrecks in the vicinity which are very well preserved and accessible.
This area is protected: no shooting and no fishing as this is the law of Egyptian national parks.

Sharks & Yolanda Reefs:

Two emerging reefs which rise from a sandy seabed some 20-30 meters deep are the most distinctive features of this splendid dive site. They are  set a few hundred meters from the coast, right in line with the easternmost tip of the Hidden Bay, where it is possible to admire a great many species of pelagic fish. Powerful currents, a chance of encountering sharks there.
At Yolanda Reefs an interesting Tec. Wreck (Yolanda) is available for highly qualified T.mix Divers. (Due to the high profile deep dive.)

Tiran Islands (Jackson, Thomas and Gordon Reefs)

One of the most spectacular dive sites in the Red Sea. Because there is no possibility to moor the boat, divers are forced to do the drift dive. You can admire the great variety of marine life. This dive site is recommended for experienced divers because of strong currents. It is a great place to practice drift dives and deep dives and also for underwater photography.
Tiran Island is also home to white tip reef sharks, tiger sharks, hummer head sharks, manta ray and turtles and you will find them especially in Jackson reef because of the strong current which is coming from the open sea.
Thomas reef is a very good dive site for the technical divers who are looking forward to dive in to over head ??? environment as Thomas canyon's which is a very beautiful exiting dive.

Thistlegorm

Sinai's most prized wreck (may be the finest wreck dive in the entire Red Sea). A British warship which sank with a full consignment of war supplies, including tanks, jeeps, and guns, after being bombed during WWII (1941). Discovered in 1956 by Jacques Cousteau; Rediscovered in 1993, lying (on a sandy floor) at a depth of 17 to 35 m to the northwest of Ras Mohammed, it is currently the wreck to explore in the Red Sea (though it has already been stripped of much of its wartime memorabilia).
