Pre-Child Swimming Program

Learn water safety, survival skills and foundational swimming concepts in a safe and fun environment. Skills are age-appropriate, allowing students to achieve success on a regular basis. This program is for Children aged 2 to 3 years

Sessions length: Courses typically run for 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

Ratios:  Child:Coach is  3:1

1st The Beginners Program

Learn water safety, survival skills and foundational swimming concepts in a safe and fun environment. Skills are age-appropriate, allowing students to achieve success on a regular basis. This program is for Children aged 3 to 5 years

Sessions length: Courses typically run for 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

Ratios: Number of candidate swimmers/learners assigned to a coach/instructor. Candidate Swimmers: Coach 3:1

  • Level 1 helps children become comfortable and confident in the water, and teach them basic water safety skills (safe water entry), and Bobbing.
  • Level 2 builds on Level 1 skills and introduces fundamental skills (vertical and horizontal hovering& gliding).
  • Level 3 focuses on improving upon skills learned in level 1 & 2 and on introducing fundamental arms and legs coordination (push of and swim using a combination of arms and legs actions, float and roll).

2nd: Intermediate & Advanced Program

Our 6 levels intermediate and advanced swim program is unlike anything offered by any other swimming program. The program is designed for children over 5 years and all the way up to young adults. Students’ progress is measured upon mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. Each level of our Intermediate and Advanced classes includes training in basic water safety and helping others in an emergency, as well as stroke development.

Sessions length: Sessions typically are 50 minutes/session, 3 times a week.

Ratios: Number of candidate swimmers/learners assigned to a coach/instructor. Candidate Swimmers: Coach 5:1

Intermediate Levels:

  • Level 4 builds on skills from all beginner levels and focuses on breathing, survival and back floats.
  • Level 5 focuses on front crawl and elementary backstroke, exiting water safety and improving skills learned in level 1.

50 Minutes Session – Intermediate

Advanced Levels:

  • Level 6 focuses on responding and preventing water emergencies, survival swimming and building upon skills learned in levels 1 and 2.
  • Level 7 focuses on front, back and elementary side crawls, applying safety diving and water rules, introducing the back flutter and dolphin kicks.
  • Level 8 introduces breaststroke and shallow water dive, and focuses on back crawl and building upon all previous skills learned in previous levels.
  • Level 9 focuses on front and back flip turns while using different swimming strokes. Mastering breaststroke, front and back crawl and exit skills and applying all previous skills learned in previous levels.
